Most Americans believe that being a prepper requires having a secret bunker, a few years worth of food, and enough guns and ammo to survive the next big war.
The sheer volume of things that we need to do to be prepared can become overwhelming. When it does, we look to find balance between our preps and our lives.
The very act of being prepared to protect myself and my family by carrying concealed, also means that I am protecting others who are in that same environment.
Modern society, our infrastructure and our conveniences make it possible to forget the challenges of survival; but that doesn’t change the reality we live in.
