When SHTF, such as getting stuck in a cave, in an unfamiliar and not very friendly environment, the number 1 thing to worry about is the state of mind.
If we have learned first-aid anyway, doesn’t it make sense to use those skills to take care of the injured, while waiting for the professionals to get there?
A massive solar flare hitting us directly would have the exact-same effect as an EMP attack from North Korea, Russia or whatever “axis of the evil” by the way.
I have the utmost respect for anyone who struggles to survive out there in the “wilderness of the urban jungle” each and every day, using just his/her wits.
