Individual liberty and free markets are essential components of any lasting society. The problem is that these precious gifts are always in danger of slipping through our fingers. Tyranny is always crouching outside the door, fangs bared, ready to shed blood and create slaves.
When most people think of “tyranny” it brings to mind images of days long gone when kings and aristocrats sat on thrones and ruled their subjects with a cruel, iron fist. While part of that image is accurate, the fact of the matter is that “tyranny” rarely ever looks like tyranny.
Take Hitler for example. He was a very charismatic leader who convinced people to vote him into power. Hitler was able to con an entire nation into believing he had their best interest at heart. He didn’t look like a tyrant, a greedy self-serving king bent on ruling the world. But that is exactly what he wanted to be.
People often wonder when they should begin keeping an eye out for tyranny. While there are a few warning signs that things are about to go horribly wrong, the truth is we should always be keeping a watchful eye for tyranny. Here are three signs that tyranny is right around the corner.
A Shift From Individual Freedom to Collective Utopia
The first sign that tyranny is on the prowl does not come in the form of oppressive laws, but through a shift in cultural and societal thinking. The focus will turn from preserving individual liberty and free markets, to a more collective way of thinking.
It’s no longer about what is best for the individual, but what is best for the group. Once this shift happens culturally, it begins to infect the government, which then typically seeks to level the playing field and create a utopian society.
The government then slowly turns away from its true purpose as a protector of individual liberty, and instead starts to act like a clingy parent.
It will try and tell people that the government knows what is truly best for them, and will make laws to try and force members of society to be morally perfect. According to their own set of criteria, of course.
Socialism and Communism have always started out with the best of intentions. An attempt by the government to redistribute wealth so that those who “have” are sharing equally with those who “have-not.” It sounds beautiful in theory.
However, all this truly does is give the government all of the power to call the shots, which always ends in the oppression of a people group.
Redistribution of Wealth
One of the big signs that tyranny is coming quickly is the redistribution of wealth. This again goes back to the idea of leveling the playing field. This is where the government creates additional taxes for those who are wealthy, to fund programs that financially support the poor.
The problem with this way of thinking is two-fold. If you tax the wealthy too much, they slowly run out of money and cannot afford to keep their business open. This means that people lose jobs, so the number of individuals in the “poor” group continues to grow until there aren’t enough wealthy people left to support them. It destroys an entire economic group.
As the old saying goes, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”
The other problem is that forcing someone to be charitable creates resentment and takes away the incentive to do good works. It’s a given that as human beings we should care about each other, and seek to help one another from a loving heart.
When the government tries to legislate this type of fairness it undermines the free market and destroys charity. Redistribution of wealth is the first step in practically applying the collective utopian way of thinking.
Suppression of Individual Rights
The third sign that things are about to hit the skids is when the government begins to slowly strip individual rights from people in favor of protecting the collective.
This is usually first seen in limiting freedom of speech. The freedom to speak openly and express your personal opinions is the cornerstone of a free society. It is what allows the common man to keep the government in check, which is why it is usually the first thing an oppressive government wants to eliminate.
Many of the laws that strip away freedom of speech start out seeming like a positive thing. Preventing someone from saying degrading things about another human based on their color, sex, or religion is a good thing, right? In theory, yes, but unfortunately, the list of “offensive” words soon grows so large that a person cannot express an opinion that goes against the status quo without fear of government retribution.
Another right that tyrannical governments gleefully strip away is the right to own a firearm for personal protection.
The government may say this is to help protect people from gun violence, but all it really does is leave people vulnerable to crooks and the politicians who are claiming to protect people. It creates ripe conditions for a dictator to move in unopposed, since the common man or woman would have no means to stop them.
These are just a few of the major warnings that should tip you off to bad things on the horizon. It’s critical that if liberty and freedom are to continue, we all must be diligent in keeping watch for tyranny.
Otherwise, our children and grandchildren may grow up imprisoned in a tyrannical society, never knowing the freedom we enjoy today.

My husband has pooh-poohed me for over a year when I tell him I’m not sure the whitehouse is big enough to be considered a palace. Some police depts have already said if they’re told to confiscate our guns and/or ammo, they’ll side with the public. Here’s to hoping the military has the same good sense.
Since when have the Secret Service let someone like that interpreter get close enough to the President to stab him if he wanted?

On September 30, 2006 George W. Bush signed into law Public Law 109-295. This was as a result of the illegal gun confiscations in New Orleans during the Katrina hurricane. It prohibits the confiscation of a firearm during an emergency or major disaster if the possession of such firearm is not prohibited under Federal or State law. It passed the U.S senate by a 84 to 16 margin. Among those who voted against the law were Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer, Diane Feinstein and 13 more Democratic Senators. Although the law is limited to behavior by federal officers or contractors operating under federal control, it does not limit state and local law enforcement officers from conficating guns. This has been addressed by numerous states that have passed their own laws to curb this unconstitutional behavior by their own local “Barney Fifes”.

I have not lost faith in We The People. I also have to believe that those who do harm to this great nation WILL be held accountable for their actions. The freedoms we enjoy also apply to those I don’t agree with. Bottom line I believe in this great nation.

When was the last time leaders, government, police or “We The People” stood up for God? Why are you so sure this great nation remains in God’s favor? I prefer to keep a cautious perspective on the subject and encourage this great nation and it’s “we the people” to turn away from the habits of well intentioned idiots bent on not offending, in favor of pretending wrong is no longer to be known as wrong. Pete, You hit the nail on the head! I believe that since “we” as a nation have put God aside and no longer regard Him or His word, I believe we have lost favor in His sight, if not completely then pretty close. Without a moral standard based on God’s word and faithful observance of such, why would God have favor on or bless this nation? Should parents praise their children when they do wrong? Should parents bless their children with privilege and material things above what is necessity when their children are disobedient and disrespectful? My parents surely did not and neither should any parent. If you do then you end up with a society full of selfish, unqualified, self absorbed whiners, uncapable of being a productive member of society but rather a drag on society! “Fear(love) God and keep His commandments”

I am a patriot. I name myself thus very proudly because I personally believe in America and the liberties and freedoms that it stands for. I believe in personal responsibility, and have never taken a handout in my entire life. I can also say that all four of my grandparents are direct descendants of other true patriots who came here before America was even called America and worked, and toiled, and bled and carved out lives with their own hands…..and who went on to fight in both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars of this country. American patriotism is a very real family tradition to us. However, and with all due respect, I am heartily sick and tired of having god shoved down my throat repeatedly by people who seem to think that their version of Christianity is required in order to possess ethics, intelligence, and personal responsibility. I am not a Christian, and BY GOD people damn well had better stop insinuating that because of that fact, I am not a patriot! If you feel that your religion is the reason why you are a good and decent person, good for you, but its high time that you wake up to the fact that many other people are also good and decent (and responsible) and that they do NOT attribute those qualities to a deity. So kindly stop with the bible thumping bullshite! I’m sick and tired of hearing it… and its a huge turnoff to a whole lot of people who happen to be mightily pissed off by the tactics of the nanny gov and its constant erosion of the freedoms that our families fought for! “Don’t Tread On Me!” can literally be expanded to include “Don’t Alienate Me!” . Got it?? (Thanks for being a forum for my rant.) — Respectfully, KZ

There’s an area of theological study ‘tknown asheodicy’ which is complicated in academic predisposition, but simply put, is the analysis of why the Church has so many absolutely convoluted, distorted, counter-intuitive, abjectly moronic, and goddamn stupid notions as to defy the rationale of all humanity; and in particular insult the common sensibilities of reasonable, educated, and intelligent people who don’t happen to subscribe to the royalist cult of religionism from which the religious minions spew their ‘holier-than-thou’ moral supremacy values, and claim species ‘advantage’ over non-subscribers!
These Scholars, including apostate priests, and church clergy, can easily bulldoze the church’s bullshit mound of ‘higher moral ground’ to a point where it becomes nothing more than a burning pit for most of the church’s philosophical garbage dump.
Since the ‘Age of Enlightenment’ The church has been finally exposed and humiliated enough to where they don’t even use their patent last defense anymore of “God works in mysterious ways far too complicated for stupid humans to comprehend, so just STFU and do what you’re told or risk sizzling forever on Satan’s barbecue grill like a fat piece of Canadian Bacon? ‘
So when confronted with no way out except to wear a sign with big scarlet letters saying, ‘ Help Me I’m Dangerously Stupid’, The Church finally conceded to the reality that one DOES NOT require religionist association to have good moral compass in society.
(they also now admit to the likelyhood of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe)
Of Course the visionary Framers already knew this and that’s why they created a Secular Constitution based on Honesty and universal fairness in laws founded on reasonable objectiveness with balanced justice for all. Also making it The Law of The Land that “‘congress shall Make No law respecting a religion”. (If you study the reality of religious/political history, like the founders knew only too well, you’ll understand why they were adamant about that 1st/A mandate)
If you want to see how good decent law abiding people live and thrive in peaceful respect and co-existence outside of the mind prison of organized faith based belief systems, check out Alpha Publishing on the web.

We must continue to resist the ever-advancing efforts of evil people to make us a socialist/communist/ungodly nation (and world), –controlled by THEM.
BUT, FAR MORE IMPORTANTLY, as the “Church people” and “Christians” of this nation and this world, we MUST get back to seriously STUDYING, PRAYING and OBEYING GOD’S WORD! THAT can bring us back to being true followers of Yeshua-Messiah-Christ-Jesus, the one who made freedom possible for us in the first place.
My appeal is especially to PASTORS. YOU are the ones who have the ear of the people, the ability and, I believe, a huge responsibility to bring “we the Church” back to the truths of God’s Word. We need to be told about our RESPONSIBILITY to study and learn to OBEY GOD, rather than just giving us soothing words to help FEEL GOOD while we slide into bondage and destruction.
More could be said, FROM GOD’S WORD, but maybe that is enough for now.

Well said.
Bastiat put it this way in his book “The Law”:
“We hold from God the gift which includes all others. This gift is life — physical, intellectual, and moral life.
But life cannot maintain itself alone. The Creator of life has entrusted us with the responsibility of preserving, developing, and perfecting it. In order that we may accomplish this, He has provided us with a collection of marvelous faculties. And He has put us in the midst of a variety of natural resources. By the application of our faculties to these natural resources we convert them into products, and use them. This process is necessary in order that life may run its appointed course.
Life, faculties, production–in other words, individuality, liberty, property — this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it.
Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place.”
I say, if we do not understand what the law is (natural law from our creator) and our responsibility to it, we will not be able to walk with our creator. “The Law” (Bastiat’s book) should be required reading for serious Spiritually minded individuals.

do you really believe that the spirit has to read books to survive
and that reading “required” books will keep anyone spiritually minded? Our thinking minds are the mechanical enemies , the culture manipulates our souls ,creates sentimentality ,fear or hopes as a premature adjaculation in a process of allowing love and truth inside of our hearts.

Milos,
I am not sure what facts you are basing your statement that those who wrote the Constitution were not Christian (as well as the recently debated question around other Founding Fathers’ Christian faith that has come up in the mass media). I know it has been whitewashed from the U.S. public schools system, but the real history is still available to those that seek it. Let the men speak for themselves and then you decide if you still hold the same belief:
“I shall need, too, the favour of that Being in whose hands we are, who led our fathers, as Israel of old, from their native land and planted them in a country flowing with all the necessaries and comforts of life; who has covered our infancy with His providence and our riper years with His wisdom and power.”
– Thomas Jefferson
“The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principals of Christianity… I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are as
eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.”
– John Adams
“It cannot be emphasized too clearly and too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.”
– Patrick Henry
“Let divines and philosophers, statesmen and patriots, unite their endeavors to renovate the age by impressing the minds of men with the importance of educating their little boys and girls, inculcating in the
minds of youth the fear and love of the Deity… and leading them in the study and practice of the exalted virtues of the Christian system.”
– Samuel Adams
“What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ.”
– George Washington
“We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We’ve staked the future of all our political institutions upon our capacity…to sustain ourselves according to
the Ten Commandments of God.”
-James Madison

Good afternoon, To your first point about free markets. If you want to take that side these said “free markets” should not be taking government money in any form, including paying good workers slave wages so they must be on the “gubment teat” to eek out a living. God has rewarded most of us with children, whether we were ready or not. To your second point, I think you mean the RE-REdistribution of wealth. Have you not seen the facts that show the distribution of wealth that has gone straight to the top 2%. Steadily over the last 30-40 years and DRAMATICALLY in the last few years. Your “redistribution theory” has already happened and has already “CREATED MUCH RESENTMENT”! Surely to God you are not so naive as to believe what you have written. To your third point, YOU ARE STRAIGHT ON!!! The Patriot act, NSA, peaceful protesters being pepper sprayed and jailed; not being allowed to assemble and carry a sign anywhere near media when your opinion is different than the “puppet in chief”.
I’m afraid we are much too late for a peaceful resolution to the tyranny that has already been in place for 30 years or more.
Rather than offering a solution your article tends to blame it on poor people (takers) and government; in my opinion the real blame should be on the greedy evil people who have lobbied and raped this Country for all they can get, especially the ones who have done it in the name of “free market” while getting huge government subsidies.
I’m sure you will brainwash a lot of people that should know better; WAKE UP PEOPLE, this division is the problem. We can not eliminate the plutocrats without Uniting.
GET “FREE MARKET MONEY” OUT OF POLITICS AND GET “GOVERNMENT MONEY” OUT OF THE FREE MARKET! We as tax payers are tired of our money going to make rich people richer when we are starving and HAVE tightened our belts for 30 years now.
Aren’t we already sorry that we have spent so much on military that will come back to bite us as “martial law”, rather than a better education for our children and helping other humans up when they get knocked on their butts.
Thanks for letting me rant.
Mama | December 16, 2013

I agree with part of what you’re saying, David L., but not everyone who has gotten richer has done it on the backs of the poor or the tax burdened American. Some of us have businesses (“You didn’t build that!”) that we’ve built with our own sweat and risk, and our employees have no right to our profits. They have the right to find a better job, if they want to, though.
We have just received a fine from a government bureau because we extracted the final payments on a loan from an employee’s paycheck when he quit his job in a tantrum over being asked to do another job. The new duty did not change his pay or his hours. Employees need to be protected against unscrupulous employers, but so do employers need protection under the law. The lesson I learned from this fine is not to help employees with unexpected expenses anymore. The law will punish me for helping them. So, instead of an interest-free loan from us, when our employees need a few bucks they’ll have to go to a payday advance type lender at a usurious rate of interest… and all because of a temper tantrum from a guy who really didn’t want to work anyway!
So don’t be so quick to “redistribute” money that doesn’t belong to you. I agree with you that bailouts to the banksters and industries who put themselves behind the 8-ball are out and out theft of our tax dollars. And that needs to stop. But don’t try to take our money! We took the risks, we worked our butts off and we didn’t expect anyone to help us for free. While you were out playing on the weekend, we were working and securing our future. You made your choices and we made ours. Now live with it!

The corporate oligarchy is actually using entitlement programs to transfer massive largesse to itself from the pockets of the working class, all disguised as helping “the needy” and “the starving children”. They ransack our country and impoverish people, then jump up and down in laughter when our solution is more entitlements to the “less fortunate”. It’s just one giant scam being played on us.

You know, Reynaldo, I find it very difficult to justify the 2008 slow death of individual rights (called a recession) through the acceptance of banks and robber barons being “too big to fail” and we as citizens have to pay for their addiction to gambling. Now we see that GM screwed the consumer again with shoddy workmanship through their recent recall causing more loss of life. Corporate oligarchy could care less for anyone else but their own greed, and from the looks of things their agenda has brainwashed what real patriotism means here in the USA.
If anyone wants to throw around the word “Christian”, it is best studied through the actions and words of Jesus…everything He did was for others through compassion and love.

Tyrany is already here, not that it can’t get worse, it will certainly get worse. Here is my proof: IRS (stealing property without a law), The Federal Reserve (unbridled printing of counterfeit papar money), license to drive (freedom of travel), DUI check points (guilty until provin innocent, unlawful detention and unwarranted search and seizure) firearms licensing (the right to protect oneself) emanate domaine (property theft) and the list continues on and on. Frederic Bastiat wrote in his 1850 book “The Law”
Self-preservation and self-development are common aspirations among all people. And if everyone enjoyed the unrestricted use of his faculties and the free disposition of the fruits of his labor, social progress would be ceaseless, uninterrupted, and unfailing.
But there is also another tendency that is common among people. When they can, they wish to live and prosper at the expense of others. This is no rash accusation. Nor does it come from a gloomy and uncharitable spirit. The annals of history bear witness to the truth of it: the incessant wars, mass migrations, religious persecutions, universal slavery, dishonesty in commerce, and monopolies. This fatal desire has its origin in the very nature of man — in that primitive, universal, and insuppressible instinct that impels him to satisfy his desires with the least possible pain.

Society starts losing its way when it fails to take care of its own.
Firstly: We condemned Hitler for social engineering. We are doing the same by selective abortion and abortion in general. We are now talking about euthanasia. And the medical system in the USA is not conclusive to be a benefit to the vast majority of people.
Secondly: Slavery is a hidden social evil. It is done by paying unjust wages in order to keep the cost down. When people have disposable income generates greater growth in the economy. More taxes collected and the Government will be more able to provide it services.
We are all afraid of world Tyranny but the worst tyranny is the one we wrap ourselves in. The tyranny of HATE. Our society is full of hate and it closes us from the love of God.
Now we have high drug use and many many other methods of self harm.
Things we take for granted like a mum and dad is under attack.
Our society is self destructing and that is of major concern to me.
We have opened ourselves up to the Tyranny of a society of death.

Hey ; Wait a minute. Is not the huge majority in our Christian nation actually are Christians. What are we doing to ourselves by allowing Judges to ban it’s mention in stores , schools and public property ? Does that made up law include Islam or other religions like atheisism ? No it does not but Christianity must be abolished from the public view. Who are responsible for that. People , I hate to call him people, but George Soras assisted the Nazi’s to exterminate his own people.Along with this waste of human skin some in our government are included among those that hate America and Christianity including Obama. Look at what this fool has accomplished in 5 years. No other President has ever been so evil to his people. They were proud men. I know what it feels like to life in a society they called socialism. The first 20some years of my life I spend “behind the IRON CURTAIN”.
I know both systems. Now there is more freedom and of course more ups and downs.
Anyway I’d like not to go down to the old days. But beware – new socialism is coming round the corner. They don’t call it that way. It’s called home security, counter terrorism, social security, bla bla bla
They conceal their real plans – in the EU – in the USA and in other places.

It is really interesting, for sure. But I wonder also what is going to happen with the SAFE Act. One step forward has been done: the Supreme Court is going to decide who can sell and buy guns, after two dozen states and a U.S. territory have filed a brief in a lawsuit against the federal government regarding legal gun purchases and transfers. We have to keep on eye on this too!

Just a quick note to my Christian friends,
We shouldn’t be alarmed at the sight of tyranny in America, and here’s why:
1. Satan is the ruler of this earth. He has been picking the presidents for a while
2. The antichrist will soon be upon us (posttrib is true, not pretrib)
3. As a nation, we deserve God’s withdrawal of protection
a. more unborn have been killed in America than Stalin, Hitler or Mao ever killed
b. we have taken the Bible out of the schools
c. we just don’t honor Him as a people anymore
d. corruption is the standard, not the exception (in business and government)
I’m not full of doom and gloom; I look forward to the Lord’s return. I try to do my part in improving America. However, I’m not deluded either. America will fall. It will probably happen suddenly and soon. If not, great! But this is why I’m a prepper. I don’t think we should rely on the government; or even trust them to be honorable and uphold the Constitution. They haven’t been, and they won’t.
My advice is to get together with as many Christian families as you can. Have regular meetings for food, fun and fellowship. Prepare together for the soon coming day when you will not be able to buy or sell without the Mark of the Beast. Include building an off-grid “retreat” in the country as a major aspect of your preparations and fellowship. Do it NOW.
Your servant in Christ,
G-Dub

Folks, it is critical that we not fall into the trap of dividing ourselves. If you are not a faithful person, Christian or other religion, that is your choice. The First Amendment protects our God-given right to have free will including in matters of faith. I think on eis wrong to think that God does not exist; however, others may think me wrong. Christians may what to tell others about their faith because they truely believe that God calls us to worship Him. Be patient with the faithful. Faithful folks, sharing your faith is natural and very important; however, back off if another does not want to be pressured. God convict the heart not us, so please folks share opinions, faith and respect each other for the values, principles and the beliefs that we each hold dear. We come together to support and defend the Constitution. I and many others will continue to support and defend faith, families and freedom. If others want to defend families and freedom that works for everyone.
God bless us all. It is not necessary to get outraged that those who are Christian or other faithful persons share their faith. Respectfully tell that person that you do not want to focus on faith but will stand together to defend our families and freedom.
Freedom allows us to live free to worship or not. I pray that we will each refuse to comply with unConstitutional laws, executive orders and most especially our military and law enforcement, since they are the citizens who will be placed in a position to enforce unConstitutional laws and the Three Percenters will not obey and will defend their lives, property and liberty.
If you or a loved one is military or law enforcement please know that if you are ordered to enforce an unConstitutional order to must refuse to obey and keep your oath which is to the Constitution, not to the president, congress or superior officer.
These are dangerous times for all citizens: however, there are tens of millions of three percenters who will fight and most who have the training and equipment to win every battle. If this becomes necessary, we will restore the Constitution and we will hold and procecute thsoe who commit treason, which has no statute of limitations.
If you are an honorable military or law enforcement the American people are on your side, if not all bets are off and you will become the enemy of the people. We must refuse to comply now and prevent a civil war. You, your sons and daughters and husbands/wives, mothers/fathers will be overwhelmed by the assault in defense of our lives and liberty. So please decide today which side of the fight you will be on when president obama orders guns to be taken from law abiding citizens.
The only thing standing in the way of a fascist, marxist take over is the Three Percent of Americans who will not comply and the guns and ammo they have to defend themselves and others. Join the ranks and get prepared if not already. Americans do not want to have a civil war; however, we will not give up our nation. We have lost too much already.
So, my friends, please do not divide as the enemy of freedom would like, but stay united in the defense of freedom. Help each other get prepared and get ready to stand and fight to restore our Constitution, not for us but for our children and grandchildren. God bless you. Long live the Republic. Peace, Peter ~

WOW ! I can’t believe all the things Micheal Cantrell is saying are actually happening right now ?? Or will be ? It scares me ,to think our FREEDOM of Speech and TO Bear ARMS will be taken away so soon ? What will REPLACE OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH and The Right to Bear ARMS ? Do Americans really want a Dictator ? Is History repeating itself ,re: i/e Hitler in Germany and his Power to Persuade the Intelligent German People ? Could the same thing happen to the….. Intelligent ~Americans ? Maybe Technology will SAVE ~AMERICA~ ? I hope so…. ?… Good LUck , WORLD,too !…..~*~

The probelm with the concept of this article is that it assumes the Wealthy are actually getting taxed, the global 1% have transferred their assets to corporations in tax havens, have dual nationalities to tax avoid, use Trusts, hide assets as well as being members of NGO’s Secret Societies where they recieve benefits in kind. The tax base therefore exists by tax churning borrowed money off the national debt where interest has just eaten any revenues to nothing.
The wealthy still are able to pay lobbyists, bribe officials and recieve loans from their own banks to fund their lifestyles, which they can also set against tax. They have the most money in the world, but by tax reciepts they can pay less than middle income families with the right accountants.

The “wealthy”, or 1% as the ENTITLEMENT crowd and the Socilaist/marxist pres. and dems like to call them, pay approx. 40% of all taxes in this country, and in fact most pay twice. Once as a business, and once as an individual (so who the heck cares if they try and hide some). The bottom 43% in this country pay NOTHING, zip, zero, nadda, and still get back an avg. of $1,500 per year??? I only get $560 and I am the vanishing middle class. And TYRANNY arrived in force about 5+ years ago. The INTENTIONAL economic collapse (and/or false flag event to blame on the “Right”, and to confiscate guns), riots/looting, and then Martial Law for the NWO will be coming very soon. Reading most of these posts, you folks will not survive. (heck, maybe I won’t either). But at least I am not in denial with my head in the sand. Wake up people!
